JonJam is in its 12th year of raising money for people with disabilities around the Wiregrass.

The event is to raise money for medical equipment for those in need.

It was created after a friend of the organizers had an accident and needed ADA compliant repairs

Now the event benefits the R.E.A.L. project and AMBUCS of the Wiregrass.

"The AMBUCS are the specialized tricycles. A lot of them could never ride a normal bike and so these are specially fitted, specialized bikes for them so these kids have the opportunity to ride a bike when they otherwise couldn't," Co-Chairman of JonJam Korey Long said.

This year’s event has raised more than $30,000 bringing their total for the last 12 years to around 360 thousand.
