Local organization holds voter registration drive on anniversary of women's march in D.C.

The Wiregrass Coalition for Social Justice held a voter registration drive one year after the Women's March in D.C.

The drive took place at KBC in Downtown Dothan Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Women's March chapters organized state-specific anniversary events throughout the weekend, from marches to legislative actions, to community events and voter registration drives.

The Wiregrass Coalition members hoped to bring community members together and get people registered to vote in Alabama.
