The Acton Children’s Business Fair heads to the Wiregrass

Calling all child entrepreneurs!
An opportunity to promote and grow your business is coming to the Wiregrass.
The Acton Children’s Business Fair will take place at the Wiregrass Commons Call on Saturday, July 13th, from 12:00 p,m. to 4:00 p.m.
It’s a chance for young entrepreneurs to get valuable experience selling their goods and services.
The host of the event. Dr. Sheila Truelove, is still looking for kids between the ages of 6 and 17 to participate.
She says the fair will teach them important life skills.
“We don’t want to stifle their dreams,” said Truelove.
“If a child has said, ‘Oh, I want to do this,’ this is an opportunity to say, ‘You know what, let’s try this. Let’s see if you can do this. Let’s see if you have the zeal and the zest to do what it takes. Let’s build your self-worth and your self-esteem.’ That’s what this is going to do for them,” Truelove said.
There is no cost for kids to participate in the Acton Children’s Business Fair, but there is an application process.

The deadline to apply is July 3rd.
