Dothan (WTVY)-- A man Dothan police term a notorious drug dealer is in custody after federal marshals and local officers arrested him Thursday.
33-year old Jimmy Lamar Berry had been sought on a plethora of federal charges. Those are Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon, and three counts of Possession (of illegal narcotics) with Intent to Distribute.
Officers who searched Berry’s Dothan home following his arrest say they found cocaine, marijuana, THC vape oil, a stolen firearm, and cash.
Berry has also been charged with Trafficking Cocaine, Possession of Marijuana 1st degree, Possession of a Pistol by a Violent Offender, Receiving Stolen Property 4th degree, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
Berry has an extensive criminal history. His prior charges include Trafficking in Cocaine, Marijuana Possession, Trafficking in Marijuana, and weapons violations.
He is jailed on total bonds exceeding $1.5 million.
