DOTHAN, Ala. (WTVY) -A Dothan pastor already charged with murder is now accused of possessing crack cocaine. It's the second time this year that Kenneth Glasgow has been arrested on drug charges.

Police say the latest incident occurred Tuesday night. “One of our patrol officers attempted to stop the vehicle driven by Mr. Glasgow and it failed to immediately yield,” Dothan Police Captain Will Glover told WTVY.

He said, once the vehicle stopped, the officer became suspicious. and a search of Glasgow and his vehicle revealed a small amount of crack cocaine and cash.

Police also arrested Glasgow in January, following another traffic stop. In that instance, an officer claims the pastor bit his finger as the officer removed cocaine from Glasgow’s mouth.

Prosecutors unsuccessfully argued that arrest violated bond conditions of Glasgow's murder charge. They will likely ask for another bond revocation hearing after Glasgow's latest arrest.

The pastor’s murder charge stems from the 2018 shooting of Breunia Jennings in Dothan. Investigators say while he didn’t pull the trigger, Glasgow helped another man, Jamie Townes, carry out that crime.

Glasgow is an advocate of voting rights for felons.
