WASHINGTON (Gray DC) - President Donald Trump has a full schedule this week in Washington and on the road, while Vice President JD Vance campaigns for Republicans in the critical state of North Carolina.

Trump is headed to New York on Monday, where he will address the 81st United Nations General Assembly the very next day.

During the annual conference, sideline meetings between world leaders are expected. A possible discussion between Trump and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy is expected as the war in Ukraine continues, along with an expected conversation with Gulf leaders.

Then, later this week, Trump will return to Washington to host China’s Xi Jinping. Xi will visit the White House on Thursday, with a state dinner planned, and then join Trump for a National Archives tour on Friday.

And while the House of Representatives is on recess ahead of the midterms, there are still events scheduled in D.C. Wednesday is the Congressional Women’s Softball Game, a yearly tradition in which members of Congress play against the D.C. press corps to raise funds and awareness for breast cancer patients.

Since the game began, the event has raised nearly $5 million for the Young Survival Coalition. Unlike the Congressional Baseball Game, the softball game has lawmakers from different parties playing on the same team.
