Washington State (KCPQ / CNN) -- Washington State is preparing for a major winter storm, just days after the last one.
Two of the biggest school districts in Western Washington say they will release students early Friday.
Several other delays and closures have already been announced for Friday and more are expected.
Earlier this week, Seattle was hit with a snowstorm that dumped half a foot of snow and shut down the city.
But Monday's storm may soon seem like just a light dusting after a snowstorm forecast to be even larger slams the region Friday through Saturday.
Some of the forecast models show "potentially crippling snowfall amounts."
Temperatures will drop below freezing Friday night and won't get back above 32 degrees until Sunday.
