United Way partners with Chick-Fil-A for giving back and giveaways

DOTHAN, Ala. (WTVY) -- Chick-Fil-A visitors got more than just reward points when they used their mobile app Tuesday.

They also got the chance to give back and win free food.

The Chick-Fil-A on Ross Clark Circle and the one inside of Wiregrass Commons Mall partnered with United Way.

Ten percent of mobile purchases will be donated to the organization.

Throughout the day United Way gave away free food to those who posted pictures and use #CFAWUW.

The organization serves 6 Wiregrass counties and funds 41 partner agencies.

"It’s just been a joy and privilege to give back to our community and see a difference that we could make throughout the wiregrass area," says Tracey Koch the director of community relations at the two Chick-Fil-As.
