UPDATE: Elderly Cottonwood woman found

HOUSTON COUNTY, Ala. (WTVY) -- UPDATE (6/11, 3:43am) -- The Houston County Sheriff's Office reports that a woman missing from Cottonwood has been found.

According to the Sheriff's Office, Linda Lavalley St. Pierre has been safely located. She's in the company of first responders at this time.

The Houston County Sheriff's Office is searching for a missing elderly woman.

Linda Lavalley St. Pierre was last seen at her Cottonwood home Thursday evening.

The 64-year-old is 5 feet, 2 inches, and 150 pounds. St. Pierre was last seen wearing a t-shirt, red shorts, and sandals.

After St. Pierre was reported missing Houston County deployed K9 tracking dogs as well as drones with infrared cameras.

St. Pierre suffers from schizophrenia and bipolar mood disorder. In addition, she walks with a pronounced limp.
