Two Cottondale drivers crash, both in hospital

JACKSON COUNTY, Fla. (WJHG) — Two Cottondale drivers are in the hospital after they crashed into each other in Jackson County Monday night.

According to the Florida Highway Patrol, Alvah Williams, 75, was driving westbound on County Road 276 and Jereomy Grimsley, 31, was driving northbound on U.S. 231 in the outside lane.

Williams was crossing U.S. 231 when Grimsley crashed into him. Both of their cars spun and they were both thrown from their vehicles.

They were both taken to local hospitals. Williams is in critical condition and Grimsley is in serious condition.
