Tuesday mobile pantry offering milk, juice and meat

DOTHAN, Ala. (WTVY) -- Thanks to a generous donation the Wiregrass Area Food Bank has a truckload of groceries for those in need.

Tuesday starting at 12:30 at the food bank milk, juice, and meats will be given away.

It is a mobile pantry, so everyone will remain inside of their vehicles and food bank staff and volunteers will load groceries and direct traffic.

There is no registration, but it is first-come, first-serve.

“If you come to the mobile pantry tomorrow and you're not able to get food there but you are in need of food assistance, we would encourage you to call Wiregrass 211 and find out what pantry is closest to you so that you can call the pantry and get help,” says Wiregrass Area Food Bank assistant director Julie Gonzalez.

A few volunteers are needed to help tomorrow.

If you are interested you should contact the food bank.
