SLOCOMB, Ala. (WTVY) - Donations collected by WTVY for Geneva tornado victims are starting to be distributed.
The Wiregrass Salvation Army is working with the Geneva County Emergency Management office to get together a list of residents impacted by the storm.
The money collected by the fundraiser will be distributed to those who need it.
Some property owners are still working on cleaning up debris and dealing with the aftermath.
Akan Crapps is one of them and says "Don't ever think it couldn’t happen to you. It's always someone else, you just need to think it will always happen to you and just be safe ".
