Yes, we are celebrating the silly ol' bear -- Winnie The Pooh-- today.

January 18th is designated as National Winnie The Pooh Day.

It also happens to be the birthday of A.A Milne, the author who came up with the honey-loving bear.

Milne's lovable pooh bear was inspired by a black bear that his son -- Christopher Robin-- loved to visit at the London Zoo.

This friendship inspired a collection of books starring Winnie The Pooh and his friends in 1926.
