DOTHAN, Ala. (PR) -- From November 7 to December 31, locally owned SUBWAY restaurants will donate 50 cents of every cookie sold to Southeast Alabama Child Advocacy Center to help serve and advocate for childhood abuse victims.

Southeast Alabama Child Advocacy Center Executive Director Terri DuBose said, “We are strong believers that it takes a community working together to protect and care for our children. Our goal is to foster a community where children are safe, families are strong, and our child victims become children again. We are thankful for the support of Subway in sharing this vision.”

From October 2018-September 2019, the CAC provided services to 986 children and supportive family members. Services provided included: 354 Forensic Interviews, 109 New Therapy Referrals, and 940 Therapy Sessions. All these services and more were provided to the children and families at no cost to them.
