Students at Selma Street Elementary School Bright Key career day

DOTHAN, Ala. (WTVY) -- Students at Selma Street Elementary School had the opportunity to experience different professions at their Bright Key career day.

Local professionals in careers ranging from Aquaculture to the National Guard shared their backgrounds with the students.

The students got hands-on experience and asked loads of questions.

Bright Key officials say exposing students to different careers, gives them a better idea of all the possibilities out there.

Jennifer Campbell, The Bright Key Resource Coordinator says "What that is, is an opportunity for us to reach out to the community and bring in professionals from different careers so that the students here at Selma Street can learn about careers they might not otherwise hear about".
