JACKSON COUNTY, Fla. (WTVY) - Six people were taken to the hospital after a Christmas Eve crash in Jackson County.
According to Florida Highway Patrol, 55-year-old Timothy Lamar Stephens was heading north on Sylvania Plantation Road just before 7 p.m. Sunday night with two passengers.
They say Stephens crossed over the center line for an unknown reason, hitting a car driven by 18-year-old Katelyn Marie Shepard.
Stephens was taken to Southeast Alabama Medical Center with serious injuries, his two passengers were also taken for minor injuries.
As of Tuesday, Stephens was reported to be in good condition. The passengers in Stephens car had been released.
Shepard and her two passengers were also taken to a local hospital, with one passenger in serious condition.
