DOTHAN, Ala. (WTVY) — If you're looking for work, there are new opportunities for both skilled and unskilled workers.
Hurricane Michael put a huge dent on the workforce in Panama City Beach and now that the city is back up and running they're looking to hire workers, which is where signature staffing comes in handy.
President and CEO of Signature Staffing Calvin McCoy said, “They lost 30% of their labor force. So, with that labor force being gone their blue-collar, their retail workers, the worker that really do the work helping the city stay in operation are gone.
Signature Staffing is looking to fill 500 positions ranging from general labor and retail to welders and construction.
The positions are starting off at 15 to 45 dollars per hour. The agency says they take pride in making sure their employees are getting paid what they deserve.
"When they're going to drive or ride an hour to get back and forth to work it needs to be worth their time. So we're very strategic in working with our clients. "
Signature Staffing will also provide transportation for their workers from Dothan to Panama City daily.
Director of Sales at Signature Staffing Tavian Bing said, "We care about you working and we want to put money in your pocket we want to give you something. We want to give you something in life we give you something that you can take to another job.
Right now signature staffing is looking to not only contract with businesses in Panama City but in the Dothan area as well.
