Search for wanted man in Holmes County

HOLMES COUNTY, Fla. (WJHG) -- The Bonifay Police Department and Crimestoppers of Holmes County need your help finding a wanted man.

Officials say, Jesse Rogers, 36, is wanted on charges of organized scheme to defraud, burglary, and criminal mischief. Rogers is described as 6'1" tall and about 170 pounds.

A Facebook account was created in Bonifay Police Chief Christopher Wells' name.
Chief Wells tells WTVY the account was created to make it look like he was sending Rogers threatening messages.

Chief Wells says, "Him renting out property to people and it's property that he does not own or have any right to. And once he knew that we were investigating him that's when the fake Facebook account was created."
