Samson honors military veterans in special way

SAMSON, Ala. (WTVY) -- The city of Samson and its schools have been honoring veterans for more than 20 years.

The city continues to do this to recognize all area veterans and wants to teach students about the vital roles veterans play in society.

"I have a deeper respect for all veterans because we all share some sort of common bond whether you're kicking in doors or loading parachutes like everyone has their purpose," said Staff Sergeant Bryan McQueen.

Enterprise will hold a Veterans Day parade November 7th at 6 p.m.

Veterans Day is Monday, November 11th.
