Prayers go out to a Houston County wounded warrior

DOTHAN, Ala. (WTVY) -- Folks in the Wiregrass are sending prayers to a soldier that was injured in combat in Afghanistan.

Houston County Circuit Judge Larry Anderson’s son Hunter is fighting a new battle after he was wounded and now his family is praying for a speedy recovery.

Anderson says the Army has been very helpful throughout the whole process.

Judge Anderson said, “You have these brave young men that are over fighting in a foreign country and still bleeding for us."

Friday Anderson and his wife plan to visit their son in DC where he has been airlifted for treatment.

Anderson also wanted to say thank you to Wounded Warriors and other organizations that have helped them out during this difficult time.
