PANAMA CITY BEACH, Fla. (WJHG) -- A health advisory is still in effect for a Panama City Beach Beach Access.

The advisory is for SP5 on the map above. (Bay County Health Department)

Due to elevated enteric bacteria levels, the health advisory for Beach Access #41 (SP 5 on the map above) at 11211 Front Beach Road is still in effect. None of the other locations sampled are under advisories.

Enteric bacteria can be an indication of fecal pollution, which may come from stormwater runoff, pets and wildlife, and human sewage, according to the Florida Department of Health.

The Bay County Health Department collects water samples twice a month between March and October to test for enteric bacteria.
