OZARK, Ala. (WTVY) -- School is back in session for Ozark students, but that doesn't mean the weekend fun has to end.
Construction is almost complete on the new community pool on Martin Street.
The project was started in the Spring, and will open to the public, Friday, August 31st.
Leisure Services Director, Steve Sherrill says the pool will stay open until late Fall.
He tells us, "We're gonna stay open through, September and October. We have heated water, and we're just trying to get as much out of this first season as we can."
The Leisure Services Department is also looking for trained lifeguards.
