WTVY-TV wins On-the-Air Blood Drive

There was a total of 128 donors that came to the LifeSouth center today.
You helped WTVY earn the bragging rights this year.
73 people donated to TV, and 55 people donated for WTVY Radio 95.5.
If you didn't get to donate today, center director David Halverson says it's always important to give this time of year.

If you want to make a difference this holiday season you can start by rolling up your sleeve.
The annual On-the-Air Blood Drive is going on today!!

The event began at 6:00 AM and ends at 6:00 PM at LifeSouth Blood Center.

It also serves as a competition WTVY-TV against Radio Station 95.5, on who can bring the most people to donate.
All donations stay in the community.

During the holidays, organizers want people to know that this is a great alternative to give back other than gifts or monetary donations.

Donors must be 17 years old, weigh 110-pounds, and have a photo ID.

Donors will be entered in a chance to win a 60-inch TV.
