National Guard member charged with possessing LSD, Meth

Dothan (WTVY)-- An Alabama National Guard member faces drug charges, including possession of LSD.

Dothan Police arrested 28 year old Charles Kalid Segrest of Slocomb.

His charges include Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance (LSD), Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance (meth), Possession of Marijuana and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

Dothan Police Department Lieutenant Will Glover says officers discovered the illegal drugs when they stopped Segrest’s car on Wednesday.

Segrest is also a defendant in a domestic case. The person who sought am order of protection against him says she found meth in his car. Her allegations also claim he threatened violence.

He is assigned to the National Guard Armory in Dothan
