GENEVA, Ala. (WTVY) -- School supplies are being collected for students in Geneva County schools.

The Wiregrass Medical Center is holding a supply drive.

They're asking for all kinds of school supplies through the end of this month.

The supplies can be dropped off at the hospital or the nursing home.

"Most of Geneva County is a rural area and a lot of underprivileged kids' families who are in hard times and maybe this is a little something that can help them out," said Human Resources Coordinator of Wiregrass Medical Center Rene Turner.

The supplies will be given to Geneva County students on august 1st from 2 to 4 p.m. at cafe med which is located in the medical center.
