38-year old Dane Corpa faced 16 felony counts including possession, production and dissemination of pornographic materials.

“As are the parents of these children, I am thrilled with the outcome of this case. It gives our community an opportunity not to have to deal with Mr. Corpa for a long time,” Dale County District Attorney Kirke Adams told WTVY.

Adams said the investigation revealed hundreds of images, including those of local children, had been stored on Corpa's cell phone. Many of those photos showed children's private areas while they slept.

Those in the photos generally ranged in age from four to 12.

“These crimes are both disturbing and revolting. It is such a violation of innocence. Me Corpa has a quarter of a century to think about what he did,” Adams said.

In addition to prosecutors in his office, Adams credits the Daleville Police Department for their work during the investigation.

Under Alabama law, Corpa must serve the full 25 year sentence with no chance for parole or early release.
