Local volunteer fire departments to get 100% reimbursement for hurricane recovery efforts

BAY COUNTY, Fla. (WJHG/WECP) -- The Florida Forest Service announced 100% reimbursement is now available for volunteer fire departments in counties impacted by Hurricane Michael.

The counties eligible for reimbursement include Bay, Calhoun, Franklin, Gadsden, Gulf, Holmes, Jackson, Leon, Liberty, Wakulla and Washington.

The Volunteer Fire Assistance program is providing the money for the reimbursement.
