DOTHAN, Ala. (WTVY) - Three arrests have been made in a drug trafficking investigation.

The Houston County Sheriff's Office has arrested Tyrone Salters of Dothan for trafficking cocaine, Avery Miller, also from Dothan for possession of marijuana and receiving stolen property, and Diante Vickers of Headland for unlawful possession of a controlled substance.

Sheriff's deputies found user amounts of ecstasy and marijuana at a house on Burdeshaw Street.

They also found more than an ounce of crack cocaine, leading them to believe the drug was being produced and distributed.

Two pistols were also recovered, one of which was stolen.

All three men were also charged with eluding the scene.

"We are dealing with traffickers on different variations and forms and amounts of drugs that are armed,” said Houston County Sheriff Donald Valenza. “When we're doing our job, we are being confronted with it. We just want to get it out there and let them know who they are."

The sheriff says they're treating this case as an isolated incident.
