Hope Ranch received a $2,000 grant from Verizon and TCC Gives.

The nonprofit is just getting started and provides emotional, spiritual, physical and practical support to foster families.

Hope Ranch Founder Michelle Beasley says, "We'll have Super Saturdays for families. We'll have date night for mom and dad where the kids are taken care of. We'll have many other events including therapy and more."

The goal is to help 30 families a month.

They're also collecting baseball equipment for the foster kids.

Hope Ranch is looking for more volunteers and foster parents.

The grant received by Hope Ranch was one of three donations given. Verizon and TCC donated $15,000 in total.
