ENTERPRISE, Ala. (WTVY) -- Holly Hill Elementary School students in Enterprise chant USA for veterans. It was the school's 5th annual Veterans Day celebration and parade. Families, faculty and students listened to a military children's choir and student speech.

"I’m so thankful for them, because our country wouldn't be the same without the veterans and it's so important what they do and they are so brave for all the sacrifices they have made for our country," said Kara Lawford, 6th grader.

"I hope that they take away that it is truly an honor to serve this nation and this has been a way to give back to the country," said Robert Slider, CW5 Fort Rucker, and Holly Hill Parent.

The school also held a poster contest that honors veterans.
