Hartford business lost in fire re-opens

HARTFORD, Ala (WTVY) -- A Hartford store that was destroyed by fire in 2016 is back in business.

The antique store, Gypsy Doll, re-opened over the weekend in downtown Hartford. The business originally started in 2016, and only a couple of weeks later, the building burned down.

Owner, Angel Holley says it's great to have her business back on the anniversary of that devastating fire.

She tells us, "But to have it back means everything to me. It's another dream come true, and a big milestone that we've done, because we've been working on it for two years, my husband and myself."

The building that houses Gypsy Doll is more than 100 years old.
