Former Northview grad giving back to community during COVID-19 outbreak

DOTHAN, Ala. - A former Northview High School graduate is busy giving back to her community during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Juhi Shah is a first year student at Texas Christian University and UNTHSC School of Medicine in Fort Worth, TX.. Due the current pandemic, Shah has returned home to Dothan where she is looking to give back in the community.

“I understand the havoc this pandemic has caused in our communities and throughout the world,” said Shah. “Although I cannot serve patients quite yet, I have decided to help those in need in the best possible way.”

Shah has created “A Helping hand: Covid-19 Errand Services by Juhi Shah". Her Facebook page is up and running. Once on the page you will find a google document that you can fill out requesting help.

The help is for those impacted by COVID-19 like the elderly and immunocompromised. Services include, but are not limited, to:

* Delivering supplies and groceries to front doors;

* Running dire errands

Anyone needing assistance can fill out the google form. From there you will receive confirmation.
