(WTVY) Steve Bannon is stepping down from Breitbart.
The media company, which focuses on far-right news and opinions, made the announcement on its website.
Bannon, who was the Former Chief Strategist to President Trump, returned to Breitbart as Executive Chair over the summer.
That was after he lost his job at the White House.
In Tuesday's announcement, Bannon said that he is proud of what the Breitbart team has accomplished.
Bannon took over running the website after founder Andrew Breitbart died suddenly nearly 6 years ago.
