Former Alabama attorney general joins congressional race

MONTGOMERY, Ala. (WSFA) -- Former Alabama Attorney General Troy King is joining the race for Alabama’s 2nd Congressional District.

King filed papers with the Federal Elections Commission Friday.

He is currently an attorney in Montgomery.

Incumbent U.S. Rep. Martha Roby recently announced she’s not running again.

King’s entry into the race means there are now at least four candidates.
