February unemployment report to be released Friday

(NBC News Channel) -- The February jobs report will be released Friday, and all signs point toward a significant uptick in jobs added by employers.


Economists predict that the U.S. economy added a robust 185,000 jobs in the month of February.

The unemployment rate is also expected to have dropped to 3.9%.

That would be the lowest number since last September.

Economists say that after the spike of 304,000 jobs were added in January, hiring would typically soften in the month to follow
