OZARK, Ala. (WTVY) -- The Carroll High School JROTC is asking for your help.

The team is going to Richmond, Virginia for the JROTC Army nationals.

The program is taking 42 students via bus to the championship.

They have raised over $6,000, but still need $12,000 for the trip.

Programs are coming from all over including Korea and Japan.

"We are now looked at as in the top 2% in the nation, so I want us to go and actually compete against the top nation schools," Carroll High School Senior Army Instructor Retired Colonel Milton Shipman.

The program will have fundraisers on March 7th at Walmart and Tractor Supply in Ozark.
