GENEVA, AL. (WTVY) - Making Alabama, a bicentennial traveling exhibit, has made its long-awaited way to Geneva County as a part of its 19-month tour.

The exhibit will be on display at The Vintage Room.

The blend of collages and interactive computer tablets tells the 200 year story of Alabama.

Students from Geneva County High School's Future Farmers of America helped set up the exhibit.

Sirena Messer, Events Director for the Historical Society, says "I'm so glad that they're here because I don't know how to assemble any of this stuff. Their teacher was trained on this and he's going to show them how to do everything. I also want to thank the school for letting the kids come out and help us with this event. I think it's going to be something really good for our community and we invite everybody to come down and check out what's going on."

The exhibit in Geneva County will be on display Monday-Friday, 9AM to 6PM until January 25th.
