DOTHAN, Ala. (WTVY) People from all over the Wiregrass started their day with a dose of coffee and fellowship. They met at the Dothan Civic Center for the 22nd Annual Community Wide Prayer Breakfast. They enjoyed a morning meal while listening to an inspirational message from guest speaker Sherri Burgess. The event was sold out with over 500 people from all different backgrounds and professions.

“We need to celebrate all of our faith based entities and churches and as a community,” said Dothan Mayor Mark Saliba. “They do so much for our community and this morning we gather together to do that with one another.”

Burgess wrote the book “Bronner: a Journey to Understand”. She also co-hosts a popular Christian radio show.
