After a week where we saw highs in the 70s and even the 80s, big changes are coming for the Wiregrass.
A line of showers ahead of a cold front quickly pushed through the area early Sunday morning. Fortunately, skies cleared out quickly after the rain pushed through. Temperatures were able to rebound into the lower 70s by Sunday afternoon.
Temperatures will fall quickly overnight Sunday night, and the Wiregrass will be in for a couple of days with much cooler highs than what we saw the week before.
Highs on Monday and Tuesday will be in the middle 50s--over 10 degrees below average. Lows will be in the lower 40s on Monday morning, and will be near freezing on Tuesday morning.
After upper 30s on Wednesday morning, highs will return to our average for this time of year. Highs through the middle and end of the week will be in the middle 60s. Lows will be in the 40s.
Clouds return once again on Thursday, and rain chances return on Friday. A shower or two cannot be ruled out into the weekend as mostly cloudy skies stick around.
