More severe weather in the midwest

Severe weather continues to ravage the Midwest, bringing threatening storms and torrential rains. Tornadoes have ripped through Oklahoma and Missouri, including a violent one in Jefferson City, MO that has caused possible fatalities and heavy damage. Flooding also threatens areas down the Arkansas River where a dam may overflow. Residents have been urged to evacuate.

Tropical Depression Imelda continues to dump torrential rain over southeastern Texas as it pushes inland. One hospital in the town of Winnie is trying to evacuate its patients due to flooding. Some places could see a foot and a half of rain.
