An Early County, Georgia man remains behind bars Friday, after he was accused of brutally attacking his girlfriend. Initially denied bond, 27-year-old Joshua Brandon-Grow is being held in Early County Jail and charged with aggravated assault, rape, and false imprisonment.

WTVY was the first to tell you about this assault, and Friday News 4 Reporter Madeleine Hackett spoke with the victim.

The Early County Sheriff's Department responded to a domestic dispute call Monday at Spooner Quarter road in Blakely, Georgia.
When they got there, they found Tosha Roach Collinns with multiple injuries to her face and body.
She was reported as "barely conscious and basically unresponsive."

Collins tells Madeleine Hackett she was stabbed multiple times with scissors, burned, dragged to a shower and raped, then dragged by her hair to a ditch to die. The mother of four reached out to WTVY to share her story--so that other victims of abuse can realize how rapidly domestic violence can escalate.

Family members have created a support page: "Justice for Tosha" and share pictures and updates on Collins recovery.
Their goal-that if her story can save just one persons life from domestic abuse, that sharing it, was worthwhile.

As Domestic Violence Month comes to an end, discussions about partner abuse and the horrible repercussions can *not* end.
