TUSCALOOSA, AL (WSFA) - Not even hip surgery can slow down one of the most successful coaches in college football history. Just two days after having his right hip replaced, Alabama head football coach Nick Saban was back in his office working away.
Saban announced he’d have to have the surgery after Alabama’s spring game a few weeks ago. On Monday, Saban underwent successful hip replacement surgery, performed by a team at Andrews Sports Medicine.
Wednesday, Saban was back in the lab, cooking up ideas on how to bring home championship No. 18 for the Crimson Tide.
Of course, what this really means is that Saban will get to hit the golf course again in the near future.
