Johnston signs with LaGrange

A big day for Northside Methodist's Anna Johnston. The senior signed a volleyball scholarship to LaGrange College in Georgia.

Johnston was a three year varsity starter for the Knights and during her senior season, she helped lead NMA to a berth in the AISA Elite Eight.

The Knights team captain knew from first sight, LaGrange was where she wanted to be.

"When I first toured the school it felt like home in a way it just felt really homey," said Johnston. "They are not a small school but they are not as big as Auburn or Alabama. I met the girls on the team and the coach and it just felt like they were really good girls, just made me feel welcomed."
