(MONTGOMERY) - It took a hungry group of kids, great coaching and three simple words that drove this G.W. Long team throughout their state title run. We ain't done.

It was something the Skipperville faithful came up with and cheered each and every game, and now the Rebels are done, beating Mars Hill Bible 11-4 to win the AHSAA Class 2A State Title for the second year in a row. Kamryn Faria was names the Class 2A MVP for the Rebels. The win marks state title number 15 for Long, which is the most in Alabama. Head Coach Drew Miller and his team couldn't be happier with the result.

"You know you just have to think about all the hard work you put in and everything that we've done to this point to get the kids you know ready to be put in this situation," said Miller. "It was just awesome man a lot of things replay in your mind."

"It ain't just like we're lucky," said senior shortstop Dylan Register. "I mean we really work at this. I've always dreamed of winning a state championship and to do it twice, i'ts just amazing."

Montgomery has become G.W. Long's home away from home, because they continue to dominate there. It was a wire to wire victory over Mars Hill Bible and that path to title number sixteen begins... right now.
