AUBURN, Ala. – The Auburn Tigers Men's Basketball team beat Alabama at home, 90-71, Wednesday night. Auburn's Jared Harper led the team in scoring with 21 points and added six assists. Alabama Freshman Collin Sexton recorded his 11th 20-point game, scoring 25 points to go along with five rebounds and two assists.
Auburn shot 42.6 percent from the field (29-of-68) including a 12-of-34 effort from the three-point line to secure the win. The Tigers also held the advantage in rebounds, 41-35, while owning the edge in point off turnovers, 28-13.
Up next, Alabama will return to Coleman Coliseum Saturday, Feb. 24 to face Arkansas at 5 p.m. CT. Auburn will face Florida in Gainesville for a chance to have a share of the regular season SEC Championship for the first time since 1999.
