In Okaloosa County at 7:50 a.m. Saturday, Florida Highway Patrol reports a vehicle collided with two pedestrians, one being an infant.

They say Javien Ciera Ramos, 24, of Fort Walton Beach, was pushing a stroller while participating in an organized event. She was running north on Hillcrest Drive, approaching Sunset Lane, with her son, Kolah Ramos, 1.

While Ramos was turning onto Sunset Lane, a Ford was simultaneously travelling through the intersection. Officials say the Ford hit both Ramos and her son. They were both transported to Fort Walton Beach Medical Center with minor injuries.

The driver, William Christopher Brown, 62, of Marianna was not injured.
