Wiregrass Retailers ring in Black Friday with expanded hours, special deals

Stores and retailers across the Wiregrass opened their doors earlier either on Thanksgiving or Black Friday. Many offered special, limited-time deals and other promotions to attract business.

Eagle Eye Outfitters, a local retailer, was closed on Thanksgiving but opened at 5am on Black Friday.

Kohl's, meanwhile, opened their doors early at 3pm on Thanksgiving Day and plans a marathon 30 hour session for shoppers.

Best Buy, a haven for electronics buffs, will be opening on Friday at 8am.
