Wiregrass Habitat for Humanity looking for donations

After the Wiregrass Habitat for Humanity Restore was closed for nearly a month due to COVID-19, customers came rushing back, leaving their store empty.

Now the restore needs your help.

Annything that builds a house, whether its building materials, sinks, cabinets, tiles, or chairs, habitat is need of donations to refill their store.

Whether you're donating or shopping in the store you are helping build houses.

Each year the Wiregrass Habitat for Humanity builds 2 houses with the proceeds from the restore.

"We at habitat want people to understand and know is that we do more than just build 2 houses a year, we help 40-50 other families with a critical build program. We have a social worker here that works with people over the 30 years that they have a mortgage with us, we have people that work in the store so we allow for 12 jobs int he area," Donna Clemmons, executive director of Wiregrass Habitat for Humanity said.

If you would like to donate Wiregrass Habitat for Humanity is open Tuesday through Friday 9am-5pm and Saturday from 9am to 3pm.
