ENTERPRISE, Ala. (WTVY) -- Big Bend Wildlife Sanctuary is searching for whoever dropped off a baby raccoon that late turned out to be infected with rabies.
In a Facebook post, the group says a couple dropped off a 10-week old raccoon on September 9th.
The animal later died and was tested positive for the rabies virus.
Even though the couple reportedly didn't handle the animal, the sanctuary needs to make sure there was no exposure.
