WICKSBURG, Ala. (WTVY)- Holding a traditional prom and keeping everyone six feet apart is a challenge that can’t be work around.
But Wicksburg High School seniors were able to put their night gowns and tuxedos to use.
The school organized an alternative- a graduation and prom lead out parade.
Students wore dresses, suits, and caps and gowns and drove in cars decorated to show off accomplishments and awards.
The parade started here at the Wicksburg Fire and Rescue station and ended at the school’s band room.
Once there, students will receive prom souvenirs.
The officially school graduation is May 22 at the National Peanut Festival starting at 7 p.m.
